In an article about ‘‘the hottest Dutch bands in the hottest new denim’‘, which also features bands like Voicst, Di-rect and The Hot Stewards, we talk about our beards, our hunting skills, Scandinavian couture and shopping in London. This September we’ll release the four singles as an EP! Now you can have the newest Kensington tracks not only on your iPod, but on your shelf too! You can grab it, hold it, caress it, turn it upside down and impress your friends with it.
Right now we’re making some final arrangements and hope to supply you with an exact release date very soon.

The Ontzettend Leiden festival, which Kensington will play at 27th September, is about to release a sampler with local and upcoming bands.
We submitted Youth to be featured on this compilation. From September 1st it’ll be available for sale in several record stores and music cafés. You can also (pre)order it online.

I regret to inform you that our show in Clouso, this thursday, is cancelled. There was a slight miscommunication… Anyway, we’re bummed, but one day we will rock Meppel, this we promise.
Tomorrow we are participating in a fotoshoot for Avantgarde MEN, the pictures will be featured in an article about bands and jeans. The pictures will be taken by the rather intrueging Petrovsky & Ramone, check out some of their work here
Our own promoshoot (with uncle Vince) is scheduled next week, so expect some high resolution background material within a few weeks.
Besides posing we just started building our own little demo/writing studio in Noordwijk, which is looking quite nice, we’ll post some pictures/clips soon. We are writing new songs as we speak and we are recording the jams with our little Pro Tools set-up, demoing new ideas like this is a new but exciting process for us.
Oh, and there are two new dates added in the show section!

Yesterday we had a good old night out on the town: we went to see the most excellent Vampire Weekend in Tivoli, all the people who got the flyer and are reading this: R.E.S.T.E.C.P.! This morning we did a interesting little radiothing on BNN Radio: whilst showering, together (of course), Eloi and myself anwswered some questions and sung the chorus of Youth. By doing this, we earned some airplay, so the complete, well recorded band version of the smash hit is played right after the bathroom session. Go check it out here
